What is network printing, and what’s the advantage of it?

Network printing is having the ability to print over the network. In other words, you don’t need to have the printer directly connected to your computer. For example, if you have your computer and you’re sitting in your office and need to print to the printer at the front desk, you don’t need to send the document to the front desk computer or take your computer over to the printer and plug it in. Instead, because the front desk printer is on the network, you can simply click “print”, choose that printer, and print whatever it is you need to print over the network.
